This winter (2022-2023) is the most prolonged, sustained snow pack I can remember in my 50-plus years living in the northland. If you've read a few things I've written, the question arises: why do you live there? It's the seasons. We've convinced ourselves, all of us, that we love the change in seasons.😎 Check out the snow pack in this short video.

In the summer (2022) prior to this snow event I posted a video on YouTube, Evergreens For Your Gardens: Unique Characteristics that WOW.

About mid winter, I decided it would be fun to compare and contrast the summer video, with a winter setting in late January.

The other noticeable difference is how out of shape I am plowing through the snow. I was huffing and puffing, but it was sure fun to enjoy the great outdoors.

It's a great idea to plan your garden with plants that can be enjoyed during every season. This video takes a look at many of my favorite unique evergreens showing how they look in the summer and in the whitest of winters.
